Speed Bumps

My Model S has FSD and got V14 a couple of days ago. To get into or out of our neighborhood you encounter Speed Bumps. One way has one and the other way has 3. FSD V13 did not see them and approached them at 20mph. V14 also does not see them. As I approach the speed bumps I cancel FSD so I can approach it at the posted 10 Mph. All of these bumps have 2 bumps. On occasion I have let the car cross the bumps in FSD and it continues to slow until the front wheels cross the second bump. At that time the car accelerates and the back wheel really BUMP as they cross the second bump..

I respond to the request "Why was FSD interrupted" hoping that someone is listenening to the comments. So far, after 24 months there has been no improvement in FSD's recognition of a speed bump. I was hopeful that the actions in Austin would have gotten attention, unless Austin has no speed bumps.

If anyone has speed bumps experience, I would appreciate your comments.

Hi, I just test drove the 2026 Model S and was disappointed to see when I went over a dip in the road at an intersection the car bottomed out. Prior to the intersection, the Tesla Rep mention it would adjust automatically. Well, it didn't. Either he didn't know the functionality of the car, or he was just guessing. I have owned a 2015 Model S with the Smart Air Suspension. Over the years I have had to be very careful going over speed bumps and dips in the road. It seems as we both found out, the camera(s) do not interpret those hazards correctly. So, we still need to stay alert. The good news, it wasn't my car, and there was no damage. I just ordered my new Model S and cannot wait for it to come. 10 years makes a big difference.
