We’ve all seen these stainless-steel beasts roaming the streets—some folks love ’em, some folks swear they’re ugly enough to scare a mailbox… while most have never even sat in one.
Here’s the dangerous part: Tesla will let you take one out for a test drive. And if you ask, they’ll hand you the keys (or key card) for 24 hours.
I did it. I took the creature (Beast model) home for 24-hours. Put about 100 miles on it. Half of them were in FSD. And let me tell you… if it wasn’t for that $89K price tag, there’d be a Cybertruck sitting in my garage right now instead of a 2026 Model Y. Maybe I’d even sleep in it. Who knows. So consider this your public service announcement (PSA): test drive at your own risk. You might fall in love with something that looks like it escaped from a sci-fi movie, but you'll tell everybody about it.
