Front passenger seat error message

I got an error message a few weeks ago that says "front passenger safety restraint system issue. Service is required." I could not find anything wrong with wiring, etc. While troubleshooting a few days later I got a message saying issue had been resolved, but it still shows om the dash as an error message issue. Has anyone had experience with this, and how can I get rid of the error message without taking it into the shop? Thanks,
