I'm looking for advice on sourcing and upgrading Duramax parts for my truck. I currently own a 6.6L Duramax and want to improve reliability and towing performance without compromising daily drivability.
I'm especially interested in recommendations for turbo upgrades, injectors, fuel pumps, and transmission components that are known to last. There are so many aftermarket brands out there that it's hard to know what is actually worth the money.
What parts have you personally upgraded, and which brands have proven most reliable in your experience?
Also, are OEM parts still the best option for certain components today?
