Discuss: Tesla expands bidirectional charging to Model Y Premium trims.

Tesla store says my Y premium delivered 6/22/26 does not support the V2L adapter.

"Tesla’s Outlet Adapter rollout does not cover every U.S. Model Y Premium vehicle. The car needs the newer Power Conversion System 2, or PCS2, hardware to support vehicle-to-load operation. Owners can check their vehicle by entering the VIN at Tesla’s Parts Catalog and searching for “assembly power conversion.” Two results should appear, and the page marked “Original VIN Part” identifies the system installed in the vehicle.

Owners can then compare the listed part with the PCS2 version. Tesla’s Outlet Adapter page in the Tesla app can provide a second compatibility check, although some accounts may still display outdated information. The company’s parts catalog supports VIN-based fitment checks, and earlier Juniper Model Y builds can lack the hardware needed for V2L."

So I tried this and get the two entries in the parts catalog (the old one is #1135558-54-A). When I pull up the page for each part it does not indicate Original VIN part on either one. This is unlike the other parts in the catalog which do display the check mark with original VIN part.
