Driver side door rattle

I dont have a rattle noise with the drivers side door, but I do notice that I have a terrible rattle sound while driving on the freeway that sounds like it is coming from the dashboard area. I just got a 2025 MY AWD Long Range a week ago.
Out of curiosity, I'm sure both these have been resolved by now (Sep 25), but I'm curious for future purchases (my wife already wants to trade her Ford Explorer on a Cybertruck (don't ask!), do you guys Mtneye and LMBond know which factory, California or Texas, built your Model Y's? I just picked up mine August 29, and my recommended checklist turned out to be almost a joke. Mine is an Austin build (Y Premium RWD, Stealth Gray), and seems to be nearly perfect. The day I picked it up at the Cypress Texas facility, I was told that ours was one of 84 picked up that day! So far, my only complaint is that FSD parked in an Order Pickup space at Total Wine! The body looks perfect, no flaws inside, and even the tire pressure was right. I have added full frontal paint protection, ceramic window tint, and 303 vinyl UV protection for the dash, windowsills, and seats.
If no one answers, I'll just pass on to my wife that the Cybertruck is universally hated by everyone who owns one.

I don't know which factory my Model Y was built. My guess would be California since that is where I live. The buzzing noise I was hearing was fixed by Tesla in Carlsbad. It was the wood trim on the dash that was apparently touching the back of the screen causing it to make that noise. They replaced the wood trim with a new one and the noise is gone. My experience of picking up my car in Encinitas was not the best experience. The guy rushed me through it, and he was condescending when I asked him to show me how to do stuff (like put the seats down.). I didn't catch that the third row seats had the carpet on the back of them coming loose which caused the rear seats not to open and close right. I didnt catch it until after I picked it up from getting the PPF installed. They did send out a service tech to my home and he replaced the carpet on the back of the one seat that was a problem. I have also had a few camera issues pop up which they sent a tech out to clean them. But as it turned out, the warning message I kept getting while driving in FSD showing the camera was a problem is actually a dummy camera since my year and model still had the windshield for the 2024 model so they put a dummy camera in the center top windshield. There must be a glitch in the software where it still think I am supposed to have that camera when I am not supposed to he that one since my cameras are all the HW4 version cameras and the center of the top of thr windshield doesn't have that camera in the newer Juniper models.
I don't know a thing about the Cybertruck, so I can't comment on that other than I have not heard good things about the exterior as there are a lot of You tube videos of people showing how the panels come loose. I personally don't like the look of the Cybertruck, but my son thinks they are pretty cool looking. ..lol
As far as parking with FSD, it doesn't seem to have learned to choose the best spaces. Mine tried to park in a Hadicap spot once and it has also just driven around the lot in circles not choosing a spot before, although that seems to have gotten better. I think it learns where you prefer to park in locations you tend to go often (like for me it finally stopped circling the grocery store lot and now does park). I still doesn't know to back in to my driveway at home, but I have a complicated driveway and want it to park only in the space in front of a specific garage door where I have my wall charger. My hope is that in time it will learn that too (but for now, I just stop FSD and park it myself when I get to my driveway).
Your pickup experience sounds disappointing at best. We arrived via Uber around 4:30 for a 5pm appointment. Our guy took us to the car and said he'd be back and take our time. We did. When we did the paperwork and were ready to go, he offered to ride with us on a short FSD drive around the block, which was down the feeder to the next street, then turn and turn again to the next U-turn at the opposite side. He made sure we understood how FSD worked before he would leave us in the parking lot. I was impressed.
I set no highways, no toll roads (since we didn't have a toll tag for the car), and no ferries (none near us anyway), so the route home included some streets and parts of Houston unfamiliar to me. At one point I asked to include a certain 4-lane road, and it turned on it. However, it turns out that was the same name as a small business park ON that road. The car pulled in and parked, announcing that we had arrived at our destination. Funny.
The next day we stopped by my stepdaughter's home. She is Charlotte. Drove her and her husband a short way and then asked FSD to take us to Charlotte's. We learned after a turn onto an I-10 Interstate access road, that FSD had assumed we wanted to go to Charlotte...North Carolina, and was headed there. Also Funny.
Glad you got your problem fixed. I'm pretty sure we'll keep the Explorer as a backup and no jump with both feet into Tesla right now. This Model Y has impressed me, and my car ownership goes all the way back to 1962 when I bought my first car--a '52 Chevy. Later included AMC Javelin, Chevy II, Datsun 280Z, Audi 5000, Subaru Outback driven 26 years, and others. I've not been as enthusiastic about a car since the 1976 Datsun 280Z. At 79, I don't expect I'll be buying a lot more cars, so I have high hopes for this one.
