Yesterday I bought a 2020 Model 3 AWD Long range, red metallic color, black interior, and I connected to the app with phone access. Insurance questions; 1) which company has the lowest rates for full coverage, and 2) have any of you decided to "eat the loss" to keep the rates lower with minimum state required insurance.
 
You probably already had to get insurance, but just FYI - we were worried about costs replacing my 2005 Toyota corolla with a 2026 MY premium a couple months ago. We were surprised that our State Farm rate for the new car was only about $97/ month - not nuch more than the old car! Washington state, semi-rural area, bundled home and auto. I had EXPECTED to spend weeks comparing multiple insurance rates, but we were able to just stay w State Farm.
 
hi just joined the group. I've owned a Tesla for just over a year now. Purchased full self drive in full and can't wait for it to go through legislation in the UK very happy, with my model 3 highland

Great to hear you’re enjoying the Model 3 Highland. Full Self-Driving is improving continuously, and regulatory approval is an important part of bringing these capabilities to more drivers in the UK. Thanks for being part of the Tesla community. 🚗⚡

I checked out USAA, supposedly special for veterans. Price quoted was significantly higher than State Farm which I've had since 1968! Then I remembered...insurance is a house game, and the house always wins. One way or another we make insurance companies profitable.
