I started out with a Performance M3 in 2018, followed the next year by a trade for a used 2018 MX. In 2022 I traded it for a new MX Plaid, but the noise generated by the governor (aka wife) when I accelerated hard prevented me from fully utilizing the 1000+ HP, so I traded for a new MY in September. I'd be open to buying another marque if I thought it was superior to Tesla, but that hasn't happened.
